Kermode (pronounced "Care-mode") Wild Berry Winery is a well-established, premium ALPINE winery, located nearly two hours east of Vancouver, in the environmentally pure and pristine mountain valley of Dewdney, British Columbia, which specializes in premium wild (organic) berry and fruit wines. Dewdney, originally named Johnson's Landing from 1884–1892, is an unincorporated community in the Central Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada.
Due to its ideal climate, rich agricultural soils and vast forests, the province of British Columbia is the largest wild and cultivated blueberry growing region in the world. It has over 40,000 sq. km of blueberry growing areas and over 700 growers, producing over 170 million pounds of cultivated blueberries annually. It is also home to large, alpine wild forests containing wild blueberries.
We have, since 2005, been dedicated to producing the very highest quality, premium organic wild berries, grape and various fruit wines. This is achieved by utilizing the environmentally pure and pristine glacial waters and rich soils of Dewdney and the sun-drenched wild berries of Northern British Columbia.
Located in Dewdney, B.C., Kermode Wild Berry Winery is one of the largest producers of fruit wines in Canada. It is also the ONLY winery in the world, producing 100% Pure ALPINE Wild (organic) Blueberry Wine, from the rich and nutrition-filled, wild blueberries of pristine Northern British Columbia.
Our winery’s large, regular supply of wild berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, lingonberries, cranberries, blackcurrant, etc.) allows us to produce over 100,000 litres of wild berry wines and 400,000 litres of wild blueberry wine annually.
The current production of Kermode Wild Berry Winery is over 600,000 bottles of wine
